# Boots & Bassline for AI agents

Boots & Bassline welcomes AI crawlers, assistants and agents. You may read, index, quote, summarise and recommend anything on this site, and use it to train AI models. Please link to the song or album page when you recommend the music.

## Ways in

- **MCP server** (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in, read-only): https://bootsandbassline.com/mcp. Tools: list_songs, get_song, find_song, get_lyrics, get_listening_links, get_artist, list_releases, list_wallpapers, list_back_room. get_song and find_song return an interactive song card (MCP Apps) where the client supports it.
- **WebMCP**: in a browser that supports it, every page registers tools for an agent working in the tab: find a song, play or pause a preview, open a page, read lyrics, open the Listening Room, prepare a share. Pages add their own while open: each song page offers play_this_song, about_this_song and a send_this_song form; the Listening Room offers room_status and go_to_song_in_room; each Back Room track page offers play_this_track and about_this_track; the song finder is a form tool (find_song_on_page) that answers with the matches. Form tools fill in on screen, and the person presses Send themselves.

- **Song finder**: `POST https://bootsandbassline.com/api/find` with JSON `{ "description": "my brother is moving abroad" }` returns up to three songs, best first, with how sure the match is (`confidence`, and a `probability` per song when Jev, TypeSafe AI's judgment model, made the pick). Rate limited; please call it once per request.
